The castle itself dates back to the time of William the Conqueror and was once even owned by Henry VIII. Later it became a private residence. As you step through the front door, you will feel like you’re glimpsing back in time when you see remnants of that castle’s history all around you. Whether you’re looking for a family break or a corporate retreat for your colleagues you can sit back and take in the castle’s breathtaking surroundings.
Stay in your very own castle
With over 42 bedrooms, the castle can sleep up to 39 adults. The famous Maidens Tower even hosts 5 bedrooms surrounded by the picturesque views of the surrounding parkland and countryside. All of the rooms are en-suite and feature period style combined with a modern contemporary twist.
The castle can also host private parties for up to 100 people and up to 200 people in the Fairfax Hall. They provide musical entertainment, a private butler and even a florist. Dinner is served in the private dining room, with beautiful Chinese porcelain.
You’ll be spoilt for things to do
Leeds Castle features an array of different activities for everyone to enjoy. Whether you want to play croquet on the lawn or walk around the lover and maize and underground grotto. Or you can play a round of golf. The castle surrounding parkland is the perfect place to find both challenging and easy holes to play with. Intervals of 10 minutes between tee off times means the greens rarely get congested. Golf club and buggy hire is also available. Along with private golf coaching if desired.
