What are the benefits of booking with The Beautiful House Company? By making your booking with us you will have the added benefit of our full support and advice before, during and after your stay. We are always available to answer any questions you may have. We offer a comprehensive and personal service which is available seven days a week. We can help you with any special requests or requirements regarding your rental, enabling you to make the most of your stay. We will always offer you the best price for your rental.
How do I secure my booking? To secure your booking we require a deposit payment of 30% of the total rent and the balance is payable 3 months before your arrival. If you make your booking within 3 months of your arrival date, we require full payment. As soon as you have paid for your booking it becomes firm and we will then email you our booking confirmation.
How can I pay for my booking? You can pay for your booking in a number of ways, if you pay by debit card there are no charges but payment by credit card incurs a 2.5% surcharge, alternatively you can pay by cheque or make a bank transfer payment.
Can we arrive earlier than 4.00pm? The majority of our properties work to a 4pm arrival and 10am departure. If you would like to arrange an early arrival or late departure this would be at the owners’ discretion and may incur an additional charge.
Can we invite extra guests to visit us? Our beautiful properties can only accommodate the maximum number of guests as stated against each property. Additional visiting guests may be allowed at some properties, but this must be agreed with the property owner before the stay commences and there may be an extra charge.
What is the minimum booking period? The minimum rental at the majority of properties is 2 or 3 nights, depending on the season in some cases. Bank holiday weekends usually require a 3 night stay and at other holiday periods different minimum stay times apply to some properties.
When do we receive travel directions to the property? We will send you the directions, full property address and contact details of the property you have booked once you have paid in full for your booking.
Can we arrange catering at the property? Yes, catering is no problem and we can recommend caterers for each property. Whether you are looking for a full catering service for your stay or just one special catered dinner, the flexibility is there for you to decide what suits you best.
Can you help with special requests? Yes, please let us know the occasion for your stay and we can give you advice and contacts according to your plans. Anything from clay pigeon shooting, quad biking, to a pamper party; we can give you help and advice on planning your perfect stay.
Do any of your properties allow dogs? Some of our properties do allow dogs, please check on the details of each property which ones are dog friendly.
Are Hen and Stag celebrations welcome? Some of our beautiful properties will accommodate Hen or Stag stays, all female and all male stays. This is stated on the page for each property.
Will we have exclusive use of the property? The house is exclusively yours during your stay. The owner or manager of the property in some cases resides in a separate wing or annex but your privacy will be respected at all times.
