Location Cherry Holt is located a short distance from Bristol. approximately 2 miles from the M5. The post code is BS8 3QX. There are direct services to London Paddington from both Bristol Parkway, and Bristol Temple Meads train stations, both are a 15 minute drive away. Bristol airport is also only 20 minutes away. It is about a two hour drive from London. The property is private and accessed through electric gates. The cool and eclectic Clifton Village is just over two miles away, where you will find many shops, restaurants and pubs. There is a gastro pub a five minute walkaway, and country walks from the front door

The Accommodation There are 7 bedrooms accommodating 14 guests with the use of 6 bathrooms. Five bedrooms on the first floor, all have en-suites, and two bedrooms on the second floor share a family bathroom. There are two day beds in bedroom 6 which are available on request.

  • The property sits centrally within beautiful landscaped grounds. The south east facing kitchen is the hub of the house, with a 4 oven AGA at one end and an open fire at the other. The kitchen is very well equipped and has a large island unit with 4 stools. Pilkington K glass has been used throughout, and the carpentry is bespoke, including an oak and tulip wood staircase. There are also handmade plaster cornices by Bath Plaster, bespoke Templestone fireplaces, and limestone floors throughout the ground floor with underfloor heating. The Media system with surround sound is in all the principle rooms. In addition to the built in sound system, there is a jukebox that connects through Bluetooth, along with a selection of CD’s and a B&W Zepplyn iPod player with ipod docks in the bedrooms.

      THE GROUNDS The property sits centrally within beautifully landscaped grounds. The drive has a pretty planted centrepiece and turning circle. Hardstanding for plenty of cars. The Imaginatively designed garden has mature cherry trees along with established plants and perennials providing colour all year round. The rear garden includes a large terrace, complete with a huge Weber gas BBQ/grill, ideal for al fresco dining. A mosaic tiled hot tub can be enjoyed all year round. A meandering path bisects the lawn leading to the southerly tip where there is a summer house. As well as plenty of room and hard surface for scooting, rollerblading etc, there are trees to climb, and a trampoline (with net surround), climbing frame and a moveable net that can be used for volleyball, badminton etc.

  • The George pub is a 5 minute walk away, serving excellent food from 12pm daily. Worth booking, particularly for Sunday lunch! Or just have a drink and chill by the open fire. Many other pubs and restaurants within a few minutes drive
