Hidden Manor Set In Countryside Luxury
Set deep in the heart of the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside, Ladyham Hall boasts Jacobean elegance, 17th-century architecture and modern luxury. Built in the 1630s, the house exudes nearly 400 years of history and is the perfect restful getaway to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
With its old world elegance, the house offers beautiful honey-coloured architecture and huge open fireplaces which are perfect for a roaring fire during the winter months. From its gravel driveway, surrounded by ancient oak trees and set in 11 acres of rolling green parkland, the grounds make the perfect playground for adults and children alike. The private paddock hosts its own bubbling stream and boating lake which includes its own boat for you to use.
The Perfect Escape
With its 9 bedrooms, the Hall can comfortably sleep up to 20 people. It has its own tennis court; hot tub* and outdoor dining, making it a perfect unforgettable experience for family holidays, parties and get-togethers. Includes Sky TV, Wi-Fi, board games, Play Station and an iPod dock.
The rooms feature gorgeous canopied four poster beds, homely rugs and large en-suites which include elegant freestanding baths wit clawed feet.
The house has a wonderful nightclub room complete with bar, dance floor and Bluetooth sound system, making this the perfect place to party with your guests until the early hours.
Pure Country Comfort
Inside, Ladyham Hall impresses with its beautiful mix of contemporary and period furnishings. It feels as if you are walking into the past with its elegant drawing room complete with comfy sofas, a moulded open fireplace and breath-taking views looking out onto the grounds. The owner’s background is in the fashion industry. This is evident from the use of quality fabrics that have been carefully chosen to co-ordinate with each other, and to give a sympathetic & stylish look and feel to each room.
With the elegant white and cream walls and floors, and historical detail it brings a sense of baronial living. In the living room are Doric columns and a splash of modern living with the bright, fresh artworks adorning the walls. Or you can relax in the cosy library with hundreds of books, plush sofas and enjoy the peace and quiet.
An Ideal Location
Located just 45 minutes from London by train, there are lots of outdoor activities to enjoy. With clay pigeon shooting, horse riding, cycling, tennis, hockey and hiking available either onsite or nearby, it’s the perfect place for everyone to have fun.
